Iron Bodies Out of Hours Access Agreement

By signing this form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to follow the Iron Bodies Gym Out-of-Hours Access rules and responsibilities. Signing this form grants you permission to use the gym outside of staffed hours, and confirms you will comply with all guidelines outlined below.

 

This form is for current members only. Submitting it does not create a new membership; it is simply an agreement to the Out-of-Hours T&C.

1. Agreement Overview

 

By enabling out-of-hours (unstaffed) access, you agree to follow all gym rules and accept full responsibility for your conduct while using the facility without staff present.

 

Failure to comply may result in suspension or permanent removal of out-of-hours access.

 

 

2. Access Control & Entry Rules

• Members must use their own fob to gain entry at all times.

• Last entry is strictly 30 minutes before closing time, as controlled by your fob access.

• During our standard opening hours, in the final 30 minutes before closing, fob access will be required for entry.

• No tailgating. Do not allow anyone to enter with you under any circumstances, including:

• “Forgot my fob”

• Training partners

• Friends or partners

• Other members

 After scanning your fob:

• The door must fully close

• The lock must re-engage

before the next member enters

• If you are leaving and someone is waiting:

• Do not hold the door open for them

• Exit during out-of-hours must be via the green exit button

 

 

3. Member Responsibility

All members are responsible for upholding these rules at all times

• If you notice:

• Suspicious behaviour

• Faulty access systems

• Equipment issues

you must report it to management as soon as possible

• It is your responsibility to ensure your membership is active and up to date

• If your membership is inactive, access will be denied (including out-of-hours use)

 

 

4. General Gym Conduct

 

All standard gym rules remain in place, including:

• Re-rack all weights after use

• No weight plates to be left against walls or equipment

• Equipment must be used correctly and as intended

• No bags on the gym floor

• Maintain respect for all members at all times

 

 

5. Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Clean all equipment after use

• Wipe down machines, especially cardio equipment

• Use spray on cloths/towels only (do not spray directly onto equipment)

• Clean up:

• Sweat

• Spillages

• Dirt

• Toilets must be left in a clean and usable condition for the next member

 

 

6. Iron Bodies Gym Etiquette

 

Training Attire

• Proper gym clothing must be worn at all times

• No workwear or dirty clothing

• Tops must remain on at all times

• No posing or removal of tops/trousers while training

• Respect & Environment

• Respect all members and the training environment

• Keep noise levels appropriate

Phone Use

• Phone calls should be avoided where possible

• If necessary, keep your voice low to avoid disturbing others

• Remember: you are here to train 

Music

• All music must be listened to through headphones

• No music to be played out loud

 Equipment Use

• Equipment must not be used in unsafe or unconventional ways (including “internet-style” misuse)

 

 

7. Electrical & Restricted Equipment

 

Do not touch, operate, or interfere with:

• Electrical systems

• Switches

• Fuse boards

• Sound systems

• Lighting controls

• Do not use electrical sockets for personal use (e.g. charging phones or headphones)

• Any issues must be reported to management

 

 

8. Conduct & Behaviour Policy

 

All members are expected to follow the gym’s core conduct principle:

 

Respect the space, respect the equipment, and respect other members.

 

Failure to follow gym rules or basic gym etiquette may result in removal of out-of-hours access.

 

 

9. Breach of Terms

 

If any of the above rules are broken:

• Your out-of-hours access fob may be suspended or revoked

• The suspension period will be determined by management

• Your main gym membership will continue as normal

• Loss of out-of-hours access does not qualify for membership cancellation or refund

 

 

10. Lost or Replacement Fobs

 

• Lost fobs will be charged at a replacement cost of £20

 

 

11. Liability

 

• You acknowledge that you are training in an unstaffed environment

• You accept full responsibility for your own safety and actions while using the facility

 

 

12. Agreement & Acceptance

 

By signing this agreement, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood all terms

• You agree to follow all rules outlined above

• You accept responsibility for complying with all access and conduct requirements
